*God would never push us away / When we are in need of something*... Though I know God is always closer than our shallowest breath and dearer than the deepest, I still continue to have a very difficult time accepting why he has not yet healed my sweet wife Helen of her debilitating degenerative disease. She has fought against the onslaught of Multiple Sclerosis for over 35 years now, and we have been praying for healing the whole time. So why does God seem to "push away" those prayers? The comfort of a hug is nice, but in comparison to healing from MS, it is cold comfort, a temporary respite, a short solace.
