I thought my spirit had left me
But it was a lesson in life
Yes, they can come at any time
Especially when there is strife

My spirit's here where it belongs
Tucked in between my heart and soul
And sometimes it jumps back and forth
Deciding on which one to hold

That little imp wouldn't take off
Knowing how much support I need
Succeeded at proving its point
One that I'll eternally heed

If you think your spirit's missing
It's just a game of hide and seek
Look high and low and you will find
It's hiding because you are weak

Not weak in your heart or your soul
Simply a weakness in your mind
Taking control of all your parts
'Til help from God you choose to find

That's the lesson your spirit gives
When all else fails just turn to God
He's always there waiting for you
To God there's no problem too hard
