Solid mental brick and stone

causes many to moan

at the sight really unseen

fright, fear, hate, from young to grown

people are people if they only

knew of the secret key

always on loan...

Freedom isn’t free to take or keep

it all depends on how we view

obstacles, problems, work

dressed as opportunity in clothing

Friend, never mind what they say or cling

to a notion of nothing

that only exists in the mind

No pain no gain they say

The truth is six inches away

it’s between your ears

Your brain matches any outlay

expenditure of energy

wasteful writing for a hope

But you can make a difference

in today

in the hours, and minutes

168 precious hours a week

no more, no less, equal

must go to waste

or put to good use

I for one, see am obstacle

but just a hurdle with

a false door to go around it

See to it and return renewed

all the while a claim to fame

or even shame...

Go to it my reader friend and companion

Mount up with courage

Have no fear of tomorrow but respect

for the game

of life and success...

No obstacle here
