Picture: Dubai, world's largest indoor winter wonderland...in the desert.

Dressed in short sleeves I sit
By a steel window sill
Winterized inside, knit
To escape this heat

Flakes fell 365 days, milled
Seems long ago for white sleet
Not here...

Night is day in this huge dome
Day is night for those not alone
I am there as if it exists
Just memories of past ski lifts
From Germany to Utah
Was Garmisch to Solitude

Now pleasantries and smiles
Brings mother nature's disguises
Oh, I wish you were here
To see this winter so dear

It's fake I know
but for now the real thing like snow
But today I sit
memories more important than skits

It's Winter on order...
Like no other
