I want to say
A sheet of paper totally intact,
burnt beyond recognition.
A fragile crisp crust,
distorted black bubbly bends,
with curled up ends.
Once its delightfully pale white skin,
in submission to quill's emotion,
and heart's desire, elegantly laying in
wait in its naked attire, accepting
the earth moon and stars, their pain and their joy,
diamonds, rubies, and passionate sapphires.
Like a still cold foggy sight,
silent erie starless midnight.
An emotional corpse before my eyes,
stares into space but never cries.
I want to say that I miss," once upon a time"
now in animated suspension,
a numb and frozen pantomime.
A lovely look at writer's block.
