Secrets
The secrets of life are nowhere to be found in the deepest fathoms of the cosmos or the place we hide our fears in the darkest chambers of our souls.
Life's secrets can be heard during the light of day,
in the whispering songs of a stream singing to the valley,
the sighing of the wind slashing through crowns of the jack pines,
in the tears of the old and the furrowed lines on their faces,
and a wounded heart grieving a lost love,
its broken wing limp, no longer able to soar in the clouds,
out of reach from the chains of gravity.
For wisdom is thy father,
and acceptance is thy mother,
and realization is thee.
and liberation is thine all.
Beautiful poem. The last stanza says it all.
