closer than close

closer than close

a breath in

tree leaves sing of

the green freshness

pink tea roses

peek beyond the lattice

is it strange

to imagine

all of this world

is more than matter


its true beauty

is to feel the joy

of the blossoms

to absorb the

intimacy of the green

as our flesh embellishes

the sacred reality

of existence

Your poem speaks of natural wonder. Something that is so beautiful and magical that poetry is trying to describe since it was first written. With your words, have described pink on green very well.

Your poem can soothe many wounds
but it's hard to enjoy such beauty
when someone is always trying to kick you in the teeth.
