Nobody calls me in my phone
No calls, texts or emails,

It was 1994 or so, and my ex would call me
He’d say, “Who is that in my phone?”
I’d say, “It’s me, you dingbat!”
“Oh, Bones, it’s you!
Now, here it is 20 years later
He’s passed on, the kids are grown
Now, no one is in my phone
It just sits there like a complete unknown
That really sounds pleasant. I have many scammers, hawkers and misfits calling me with death threats and other nice things like that if I don't pay up immediately. So I don't pick up so I don't have to hang up while they keep my number as a hot one to give to other folks looking for a sucker.
This is a reality for some. But some like me... I text everyone and bug them. After all, I have all the time in the world now after I retired. I'm a Queenager now. Heehee!!!
I can understand the feeling, as we get older the list of calls we get from friends and relatives seems to diminish in proportion to the passing years, first retirement, then deaths and illness and sometimes just the hectic pace of the new generation. Alas...we always have AD.
