Do not call me names because I voted not color, but conscience!
A new day has dawned
But that is not always good
Sometimes the evil
Still comes through
To call me a racist
Because I did not
vote like you
Is racist itself
Without a doubt!
You see, I was not trying
To make history
I was not thinking of only me.
My thoughts were on those
Who founded this country
On God’s Holy Word
And on the generations to come
And hoping to leave them
A country who’s Constitution
Still has roots in His Word!
I think those great men
Would spend in their graves
To see what has happened
To the country they loved
I voted my conscience,
Not black or white
I voted for values
That are just right
Belief in the Bible,
In God’s Holy Word
So you see,
I am an American!
And I vote for the person
That knows this great land
was founded on His Word
on which it should STILL STAND!
Do not label me a racist
Because you see
YOU voted for color.....not me
