Even though I've never been in a relationship before in my life,I have gotten hurt by a woman who I thought was the one.
I'm not looking for a boss
I'm not looking for money
I don't want to get hired.
I don't want a position in a company
I'm looking for company to share my life with
My objective is to find love
I have great qualifications
Hopeless romantic,respectful to women
Not a control freak,not an original gangsta
I'm an original gentleman.
I don't hit women with my fists and words
To cause severe damage all around her life
Appreciated,wanted,accepted are what a woman will feel
Why?Cause she deserves it
My experience with love hasn't been pretty
I used to like this woman
We were the best of friends
Things didn't turn out so great
She hurt my feelings by going back to her jealous boyfriend
She decided to end our friendship on her birthday the next year
Being disrespectful,mean-spirited and nasty towards me
I was too good enough for her
She moved on and so did I
I moved on stronger for the better
My references are family and friends
People who know what I'm all about
My track record speaks for itself
One day you will find the right woman and she will love you for all the good inside of you and what you stand for. This is a very heart wrenching write and I like the honesty in it.

Edwin, all I can say is you have a GREAT DEAL to offer a woman, and the one you speak of in your poem lost far more than she is apt to gain elsewhere. Sometimes things happen for the best.
" Resume For Love " is some real serious stuff words are powerful and can really hurt or do good. You know something Edwin even though you have been hurt, and only God and time can heal that! ( It seems that He has already.) It was all for your good God has better for you. I appreciate your openness and honesty in this poem and oh what good traits you have, you have been blessed with the gift of love!!!
