Autumn Rains

November
floods across my soul
muddy gray
as time takes
lively two steps to winter's
fresh snow-brushed canvas.

A lovely canvas of words you have painted for us, JO.
I'm hoping for snow this year (always optimistic :o), but with temps in mid-to-upper 70s, no acorns falling from the oaks...no tellin' what's ahead.
