walk abreast with me though the path be narrow stay within my sight even as darkness looms let me feel you always near when sadness overwhelms may I feel your love when loneliness prevails to always hear your voice thought deafness surrounds remember my kiss when memories fade remember my touch if numbness engulfs you may my essence fill you as days turn into weeks love me like air need me just as much want me like food hunger and breathe my very touch..

such a basic, primal need. air, love...i appreciate the paucity of word usage here, you use only what's necessary, not expending energy in extraneous metaphoric construction, which only builds a sense of airiness, in perfect compliment to your subject. well done, poet.
