I love him… I remember a story that begins with humiliation, sadness, and being speechless- I wanted him, I was let down and words got stuck in my throat after he said “No, not now” I wondered why he didn’t look I wondered if he even cared and I wondered what to do Blunt rejection was hard to ease away from after physically exposing myself so openly Pie in my face, heat changed to chill Excitement turned to heartbreak If I had to, I would change my story again and again until I got it right My story that I love him- has no end © MS 08.08.05

Ouch this one hurt down deep cause I think we all have felt that sinking feeling of opening ourselves to another to be turned away, like going to a birthday party and having the door closed in your face you stand there with your gift of love all wrapped in pretty paper with no one to accept it. Very sensitive write my friend.
