Listen Harder

Listen harder, all is there
Don't get too lost in what's unfair
Each has a call, some work to do
So look within and start with you

Complaints will come, and problems too
No matter what you try to do
We sometimes, truly, just can't win
But learn some more, new things begin

A dream beyond the place we're at
A trick which waits beneath a hat
So unexpected and sublime
That all will change for good this time

You'll see it's time to battle on
The days of thought and rest are gone
With daily deeds we'll work and earn
But listen harder, truly learn
