Pouring Out My Soul

muffled hands

cover my face

silent screams

struggle to break free

into the night

my broken soul escapes

flies free

free from this world

this lost world in tatters

blood covers the eyes of the blind

and i yearn to break free

free of this life

sinful admissions

of a guilty conscience

done in by warped impressions




flowers dripping their colorful expressions of insanity to the ground

lost entities of something grounded in unfaith

I liked the line

"blood covers the eyes of the blind"
