Dissolve

I want to dissolve in the whispers of the world.

They sing their songs for me.

The silent invisible hands brush against my face.

I am taken to a place of inner contemplation.

The people walk around me silently, their lips sewn shut.

Voices in my mind from another place.

You brought me here.

I picture her approaching me, the people turn to black with white faces.

They don't see me, but she does.

I reach out and she dissolves through my fingers.

A lasting impression, an un-memory.

But I remember, I see her.

Everything I want and so far away.

I'm drying, dying, from the inside out.

I'm crying, nothing left to breathe.

Breath and air are one.

Slow breath.

Dream, a place between reality and otherness.

Elsewhere the candles burn and I look into the flame.

My passions ignite in you.

Save me or let me drown in my tears.

Dissolve.
