Just a little whimsy with a smile. I have drawn a hug with open hands but this site will not allow me to paste it here. Sorry, will send the drawing if you ask for it.
Huggy
I drew a hug
then gave it a smile
and set and looked at it
for a little while.
There seemed to be
a missing part
to show a warm and loving heart.
So I gave it hands
on either side,
loving arms opened wide.
Then I sent this hug to you
just in case you were feeling blue.
I’ve sent it to so many places
Oh how I’d love to see
those smiling faces.
A hug is needed,
from time to time,
so I’m sending you mine
along with this rhyme.
Excellent and loving write carried by a sweet little rhythme.
I imagined the picture that you drew sure it has brought lights of love to the receivers.
This is a warm thought, and it must have been warm feelings when you composed your poem. Hugs to you, too.
