God! People say to become detached is
the ultimate goal of salvation.
Detached from everything and everyone
What is there to feel?
No pleasure,No pain
Nothing to treasure and
Nothing to gain
Undeterred and Unshattered
Looking everything from, out of us
as if nothing in the world belong to us
The happiness, The sorrow, The good,The bad,
The beauty,The ugly, The richness, The poverty,
The love, The hatred, The victory, The defeat
experience nothing, Ours and the Others'
What is there in this salvation to wish for?
No taste, No colour, No language, No custom
What remains to live for?
Why people get desperately perspirated
and respirate for salvation?

Dear Prashanthi,
You have broached a subject that remains a mystery to almost everyone today. But, it is a mystery only till you understand what it is. Suppose I give you a cup of tea without sugar, you wouldn't might find it tasteless, but the taste in it is known only to a diabetic, because it is the taste of life for him.
Similarly, you will not be able to understand "Salvation" unless you are close to God, and realise what is actually important in this world. This is a topic which I have been trying to study / research since a long time, and my comments have gone to the extent that my mom fears I will become a Saint (Sanyasi). But no, it isnt so, we need to fulfil the four ashrams of life.
In Vedic times, the normal human life was regarded as eighty-four years, consisting of four sections of twenty-one years each. The first twenty-one years is called the "Brahmacharya ashram", the stage of youth or learning, which requires a certain discipline, guidance and purity for its full flowering.
The second twenty-one years, from ages twenty-one to forty-two, is called the "Grihastha ashram" or householder phase. This is the main time for having children and raising a family, as well as for working and fulfilling our duties to society.
The third section of twenty-one years, from ages forty-two to sixty-three is the "Vanaprastha" or the hermitage phase. This is a time for return to contemplation and for guiding society in the distance.
The fourth and last section from sixty-three to eighty-four is the "Sannyasa" or renunciation phase. The person, now an elder full of wisdom, inwardly aims to renounce all the outer goals of life. He also becomes a teacher of the spiritual knowledge and no longer partakes in social or political concerns.
In this we see that only twenty-one years are allotted for the outer duties of life. Three-quarters of life is to be devoted primarily to spiritual study.

It reveals the mystery of our faith and something hoped for that is evidently lacking in our everyday struggles and experiences.
To reach that ultimate joy, perhaps it is necessary to isolate onself from what is viewed as the spiritual superficial.

Before Salvation one should try for following Dharma,Earn money for fulfilment
of minimum needs and then only think for
salvation.Since salvation is the last stage
why do you develop disgust about it in the first instance.However I appriciate your
far-sightedness in this regard.

My sincere request if not advise is that never venture into those areas where you don't have in-depth knowledge. "Salvation", as you thought, is not about nothing. It's something beyond this physical world and it has become a continuous pursuit for humanbeings (particularly in India). Volumes have been written about this aspect.
I am not discouraging you from writing poems about philosophical topics. But before doing that please have a look at the subject, understand it, feel it and then pen down your opinions. It is always better.
Anyhow, as the lines go "MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP...MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP", you have to go a long way in this literary journey.
Salvation in your view is not defined well. Lord Buddha attained Bliss in salvation only. We people who are craving for materilistics pleasures will die oneday without attaining any salvation.

While rating this poem i'm detatched from being logical ;-).The presentation of the concept is nice. When the "beatuful cloth" of life it self is the made up of valuable fabrics like "feelings","emotions" etc., no point in being detatched. good work miss.

You have to know onething that, this world is going to be end according to the ......., ok. So some people don't wanna live in this world which has bad also. Bu they don't know that they can win it, they think that get rid this wolrd I mean detached, and they are going to have this world with new era (Satya Yug). I think more and more on this always. But I cann't define anything, anyway, nice thought.
