Of Governments and Gangs
The citizens are loyal to nations; The queens and the players are down. They both attempt to halt immigrations Crossing border or turf outside town.
To our countries, we pledge our allegiance, For Holmes, it’s blood in and blood out, And to burn a flag’s always egregious, So, don’t dis the rag! Yo, check it out!
Yanks in the West and Muslims in Iraq; Like Bloods and Crips and Latin Kings. A missile’s not much different than a glock; Bangin’ and war are identical things.
Disparity of wealth or conviction Makes nations flash milit’ry clout; Each getting off the gate in the friction If big boys feel that they’ve been dissed out.
No matter your country of residence, Nor from whence your ancestors sprang, Everything’s about the dead presidents, And the government’s just a big gang!
Diplomacy’s been tossed out the window; Their words sometimes harsh, sometimes crass, Abide their rules and laws, because you know, If not, they’ll pop a cap in your ass!
