Earth Gazer
She knows that some people reach for the stars
And find in them meaning,
Thinking in their slow circling of the heavens
Lay the answers to the questions others dare not ask.
And learned men, she has heard, spend a lifetime
Probing the universe in search of that one speck
That holds the beginning—as well as the end—of all creation,
But she herself is content with the earth,
With its measured unfolding of seasons,
and for her there is no reason to go climbing among the stars.

i like the tone and pulse of this poem ...
The title drew me in...I misread it as Earth GRAZER. The Sky Watcher in me wanted to investigate. :)
