She wears an element of madness,
Like a cloak about her breast,
And has known from childhood’s hour
She is different from the rest.
She plays with words
Like building blocks,
Creating a world of her own,
A place of metaphors and similes
Instead of flesh and bone.
She waltzes gaily in her madness
And twirls to the pulsing beat
That lets her forget—for at least a moment—
The bloodied swords beneath her feet.
A symbolical impressionistic-surreal exoteric picture... "Dementia" is painted with the colors of the ontological rainbow.

Powerfully imaged and felt; well done.
