Flesh and stone

Wet, rotting body unites in
A dreamy state of ecstasy.
Unknown, we succumb
To the feeling of love
How long this will obscure thought
How long the delusion will stay.

Out of space, out of nothing
Only in the matter of brain, will
Reside this feeling of love.
Some one should ask about this
To an old man who is really old
And hardly able to answer.

Love fades, love is not all.
It has many faces.
Bachelors devoid of love
Living happily.
Love without a body
Hard to imagine.
With spring love grows wild.
Victorius love has ever conquered
The whole world.

To man with this for long
Time dampens very joy of love.

Then he sleeps with
Uncertain, oblivious mind.
Flies move above his head
Like those near the mane of
An old lion.

The story has just begun
Because that was in retrospect.
Is there only a visible world?
Mind plays to decide
What is right to what is good and cosy.
They are not same.

Life goes on, experience earned.
Affection, love, respect,
Hatred and jealousy
Come and go. We are concerned.
We do not know what is right for us. Like blind leading a blind
Everything ends so soon.
Nothing to hold tight
Are we holding it right?

Life is not a dream
Love is not a dream
Only seen through something which Dream, unreal.

So they loose shine and glitter,
flies come, Jittery
Mind is vague, oblivious.

Morbid and love are antonym in fact
Iff offered as sacrifice
To higher truth, real, exact.

Faith and love lives for ever and
In this kingdom only
Joy, bliss, anandam.

Very unique comparison indeed, but somehow the spirit continues on through eternity...

Be safe,
Karen
