Over half of my life years and thousands of experiences and emotions, I have shared with my friend, who went on to complete her infinite cycle this week, without me. This poem is in remembrance of her, my Roberta, and dedicated to her memory and Tony E's Father, and Richard's cousin Butch, all of whom died this past week, and all the other "stars" shining out there.
Life Like A Star
Life, Like A Star--
Life was burning hot, bright,
and burned out fast;
every bit of it’s essence
some of it’s entity unable to be seen
by human eyes now,
still existing in the infinite reality,
influencing us by their life
of brightness, intensity,
their pull on forces of nature,
seen, and now unseen;
past, present, future, infinite,
life, like a star.
As a star gives light, hope,
good wishes, and happiness
to the world,
so does the life of others.
We but have to keep our eyes and hearts
lifted high,
not focused on our self,
to see all that another life and entity offers
and gives of its own life
to life outside its own sphere,
Life, like a Star.
You understand the meaning and purpose of communicating that should focus on the other. When done without condition the returns in a spiritual sense are comparable to nothing else. The good advise of keeping our hearts lifted high also stems from the same awareness. If this world had been less conditioned, was disinformed to a lesser degree, was not blatantly lied to, the power of positive thought would have regained its initial meaning.
