Written from one whom has many friends!
A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart
And sings it back to you--when you have forgotten the words!
In life we have many friends...they come and go...like the seasons...so I chose early in life "to be friendly" and not make "friends"...it was just too painful...so my hubby and I were best friends thru everything...then...when you lose that lover/friend/trust, you find yourself standing around many "friendly" acquaintances.. and that can surely leave you empty...so..in AD I too have found many friendships, such as yours...that I treasure...we need friends in life...and I am so thankful to have you. hugs, lindalaw

Elvis and Michael Jackson needed a friend to correct them, but none was able to do so. I have a friend like that, that always jumps on me when I need it the most. He never fails to criticize and cuts me no slack, but he kicks my backside in love. I become a sharper person as a result. After knowing him for twenty years, the rest of you are a piece of cake.
I like how you were able to string together such long sentences here and make them rhyme so well together. I have trouble balancingout my verse like you do, especially long ones like yours. How do you do it?
