NIGHT

                                         Night falls, all are at rest,
                                         rewarded with sleep.
                                         A blessing of peace
                                         and silence so deep.

                                         Stars appear, as actors in a play,
                                         together on a heavenly stage.
                                         Who, so wise, can know,
                                         their meaning of destiny.

                                         Moonbeams are everywhere,
                                         a wondrous glow.
                                         In a shadowy world,
                                         cool light to bestow.

                                         Green summer, in song,
                                         God's creatures give praise.                           
                                          Winter white, how still,
                                          Life's echo unheard.

                                          World of dreams,
                                          so mysterious.
                                          In the night is hidden,
                                          a vision of Heaven.
