                                         AT THE WINDOW, SONNY

                                                 All day long,
                                               at the window,
                                                        sits,
                                                my cat, Sonny.

                                            From mornings light
                                           till the Sun goes down,
                                                 there he sits,
                                                    my Sonny.

                                              On a perch just right
                                                  to see the world,
                                                     there he sits,
                                                     that Sonny.

                                                  To see the birds
                                                         he likes.
                                            To watch and dream,
                                                    that;s Sonny.

                                                  Too slow afoot,
                                               now he has grown,
                                                 to leave that spot,
                                                           Not!
