This day was meant for me

This day was meant for me

I woke up this morning feeling glee

I stepped out of ben

feeling peace in my head

I walked on the floor

Passinbg the hallway door

I looked in the mirror with a smile

Wishinbg it could last for a while

I got dressed for the day

Willing to do God;s way

As this day came forth

I looked towards the North

I wanted to do God's will

With peace yet so still

When my day was through

I realized how much I grew

You are wonderful dear Lord

With you I'm never bored

The day was worth it

The night candle was lit

I said my prayers of gratitude

With a feeling of sincere attitude

Thank You God
