It has such a powerful sense of superficial emptiness...the same feeling that permeates a life obsessed with the material at the expense of everything else.
Great poem and I could almost hear the melody that goes with it... I wish for this vain, shallow existence and would sing of it too... But alas! The only thing shaking these days is my post woodstock belly! Loved it... Lots of fun! And thanks for dropping by. RD
