Letter

I think I’ve lost you
What do I do
I’ll write a letter
To help me through
And hope I hear
Hear back from you

I wrote you that letter
And hoped you would reply
I hoped things would get better
Between both you and I
But as I sat there waiting
To hear back from you
My heart was only breaking
And tearing me in two

Thinking the first was lost
