This lyric is about a past experience of mine where I felt that me and the guy would be together forever. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way...

Well Lena I am sorry for you that things didn't work out for you but as talented in Poetry as you seem to be. I am sure the right guy will knock on the door of your heart some day--as for the other guy that's not part of your life,that is his loss--loved your poem

Makes a wonderful statement about lasting love in any song. Unfortunately, so many relationships start out this way but end up differently after the song was written.

I'm thinking of Phil Collins song, In the Air Tonight, where he sings, � I was there and I saw what you did, saw it with my own two eyes��
