Sex Now Understand Please Speaking for only myself Sex now different as … Me nearing eighty She nearing Seventy Now thought of In different terms Sex thought of now… Though passion still there Sex thought of now More so as an act of love Sex thought of now Less than that of ultimate passion. Speaking for only myself Sex now thought in Terms of closely held Personal quiet intimacy Sex now rarely concluded As those long gone younger days… In honesty, More often than not Concluded now Without sexual gratification However… Understand please Speaking for only myself These loving times of… These loving times of Personal quiet intimacy Of nude body to nude body Of chest to breast Of mouth to mouth These loving times Of interludes With barely heard Whispered words of love Though most probably Most usually Concluded without sexual gratification… Understand Please Speaking for only myself Though different Love now, Sex now As sweet as those younger days. ©June 13, 2012 Mark M Lichterman
