or the things we forgot to discuss, or the things we discussed until our lips faded into our faces and our eyes couldn’t take another look at whatever it was that held us at attention.
Distractions, like how I am sitting here, fingers positioned at the keyboard and you,
you getting out of the shower. It’s not that you’ve chosen the towel that drapes your waist just enough to make me type something crazy, something like: There is a trail that leads from navel to pelvis.
Memo: That is not an opening line!
So I draw back to Li Xiangting’s zither serenade of strings and focus on the screen: cursor skittishly flashing as if it has lost its patience with my preoccupation. And I think to myself I am going to write something worthy of literal importance of absorption, of brilliance–
Dynamics: the study of objects in motion.
There is a bead of water dangling from your nipple ring, its life dependent on the depth of your breath and my ability to concentrate– it is about writing
How many times have I read this (as I have most everything else you have ever written) but have not commented on? This time I had to or wanted to and still am left speechless. But you know you have always done me proud my little one. I just had to reflect.

Poet, I have found another treasure amongst many scattered neatly in your Den, that compels me to linger a little while longer. I am savoring the tremendous visuals you’re easily able to paint. It seems far too many times, there are not enough Poets who are willing to risk allowing themselves to fully harness and utilize the awesome potential of dynamic motions of thought, and transform “it” into “words,” which caresses a blank canvas from its conception into a full-blown sensual treat. I enjoy how you’re quite capable of achieving this feat. Thank you for sharing your work. Take care and be well.
whoa.....there is noting better than that kind of distraction! lol Maria... this in indeed.... well captured!

You must have known, at least had a hint that this was a piece to be proud of. With its ease of flow and luring lines, not just the kind grounds the reader, but rather pulls them in headlong. It's the one thing we all try to achieve in writing but seldom ever do.
This is about the third time I have flipped over to this and it just gets better and better, more and more tantalising with each and every read... by the time of my 8th visit I reckon I will be beating my head against my desk with frustration! Yes, yes, yes... just that LITTLE DAMN THING that drives you mad... say no more, I'm at fever pitch with this and could just about swallow it whole... as I seem to be prone to sayin at the moment! I think I like this one, Maria... and this IS the highly edited version of my review!! :)) LOL Kate xx
Maria, this poem is certainly an "object in motion" ... it is dynamic in its subtle sensual nature and its ability to totally absorb the reader ... you have certainly written something worthy of literal importance, absorption and really quite brilliant ...
