1. Past the borders of expectation, thru a storm of shadows, you press on. Nothing lost is long forsaken. No one loved is ever gone.
2. You do not fear your heart's transgression when untethered dreams lead you astray. A dark wind passing draws you deeper. A soul ignited lights your way.
Piercing my reality-- incandescent, you arrive-- Medusa's garden catches fire-- As you bring me back to life.
3. You come as a stranger past my defenses, touching a heart grown cold as stone. I welcome the stirring of embers and ashes. I am rekindled, no longer alone.
Piercing my reality-- incandescent, you arrive-- medusa's garden catches fire-- As you bring me back to life.
i really like the vivid metaphor and imagery ... rekindled back to life's passionate fire ...

"No one loved is ever gone." ---if that's not the truth then i don't know what is. rekindling that flame, understanding that the flame represents more than just life, is a journey all in itself. stay up.

I love this poem Lee, the intensity, the mystery. I will have to read you more often, can't imagine why I haven't already. This poetry challenges the mind and the inner soul.
This speaks more of kundalini to me... and right when "i" thought the ashes were cold and dead.
Then again, What is Dead?? Or Alive, for that matter.
