                                         Meeting God

The meeting was after I died. He used a tree to free my soul I slid right into the horror of my life and then I felt his arms holding my body and the heat from his hands began to heal my mind. Lost I had been for years on a path of destruction of my soul.

God knew the call to him was never answered. I walked away or closed my ears, never to hear or see what was right in front of me. A new path,  a better long road of redemption. Yes, redemption and all that word means  when said; I was free of my physical body. Smiling as a child because I knew I was a child of God.

No second guessing if God existed. No minister to tell me it was true and that  God was there when we needed him. True the words were as he used a stranger to speak to me. A passerby when I hit the tree. Someone to hand me what I  wanted so I would not die there. In front of a living and breathing tree. God knew it would take this tree to bring me back to him.

I felt the blood gushing from my face. A face that was so perfect in many ways.  God wanted me to begin again and mold me to be a person forgetting about  mirrors. The bones would heal but could my soul and mind heal with or without  his help?  A memory once great and special was now gone. A face once called beautiful was no longer that way.

This was the biggest lesson of my life and I took a year to know that God wanted me in his house but I needed to heal and fix my house. My vanity had to be erased for people to see the real me. The thoughtful me and now again, the Godly me. We are all in his image and that image is our soul. Not the outward appearances, no,  just the soul. Closer to thee I went from dark soul to brighter soul. Knowledge  that I had to scrap off the shell of isolation from him I had formed to be socially acceptable. Forgetting that the soul is what allows for acceptance in this world.

God had reached out to me using a tree and car and hitting the tree at 65 mph as I was told. He vanquished my mind to a place I could not find and forced me to examine the why of the accident. It was obvious after years of healing that my  soul was lost and after the accident it took a year to be found. Now I no longer do what I did before. I walk away from that which will tarnish and rust my soul.

For all that is said and done toward God I now know he found me and repaired the idea of me and thus, I have come back to God. Not just my body but my soul.  A clean soul and a human who now walks behind God as when first I was born.  Come and join me. Follow God for the soul is the way to God.

Thank you for sharing your incredible story. Sometimes we have to come close to death to experience eternal life! Why is it that way? Why do folks wait so long? Then others just brag about how they can make it on their own lonesome selves until they get a call from hell?
Jesus saved me a long time ago but every day is a BRAND NEW day! I am thankful in so many ways. Merry Christmas to you! Amen!
