Fate Poem

Poem Artwork

  by Damien Roji-OBE, Ekushoy Padok

A Gift From Above Heavens Gate,
With Ink & Paper Written Each And Every Fate,
When God's Blood Is The Ink,
Our Fate Cannot Be Destroyed or Changed,
Each of Us Are Given Tasks,
To Play A Role in The Biggest Show Of Life,
Each With A Scroll & A Mask,
A Game Of 'Reason's' & 'Fate', Where Humans Will Become God's,
Where Humans Will Become Gladiators,
Where Many Soldiers Will Listen To Each Commanders,
Points Would Be Awarded,
One Would Be Victorious,
Where There Is Only One Space,
There Is No Time For Second Place,
Reaching The Highest Cloud,
On Top Of Mountains Where You Shout Out Loud,
Where You Seek For God's Existence,
You Want Courage & Resilience,

You Open A Book Of Light - A Diary,
You See Everything Very Clearly,
Your Mind Is Sharp,
Close To You in Sight,
In Chapter Ten- Destiny Is Written With A Quil Pen,
Each Name & Numbers Lit Up Like A Fire Would,
When You Find Many Other Tag's & Numbers Of God's Near,
In A Moment of Maddest Moment,
We Had A Test Of Faith Rewarded,
After Two Days Of Meditation,
We Cut Our Belly Open Wide,
We Cut Out Our Stomach,
Reached The Keys Inside,
Opened The Cuff's To Freedom,
It Was A Time To Show Imbecile Humans That We Are Humans In Shape Of God's,
Death Doesn't Separate Us,
Death Only Gets Us More Closer,
Among Us The Weakest Link Go Astray,
Where Earth, Fire & Wind Cannot Destroy Us For Real,

The Population of Our Planet is Seven Billion People,
If War & Plague Never Occurred At Large,
We Could Had Been A TrillionAire's,
We Could Had More Friends,
We Could Had More God's in Humans Soul,
We Predicted in 2018, That A Virus Called Covid-19 Would Spread This World,
We In Dale Were Warned,
We Are Serious Business People,
We Didn't Let Anyone Let Down Yet,
Our 5 Nation Had To Prepare,
We Cannot Afford To Lose One Single Hair,
We Performed Death Defying Acts,
Many Many Times We Became Triumphant,
Soldiers We Are,
Each Of Us In A Brand New Car,
We Don't Believe in Faith, Because We Write Our Own,
For Centuries We Evolved,
Only The Best - The Fast Can Only Reach The Top,

I read and reread ... and read again simply to take in total as much as possible all that you have pondered and reflected upon in "Fate Poem."

Personally, I do not believe in fate, but in hard work, responsibility and honesty. I think your poem very honest, and spoken in a very strong voice.

Thought provoking write ... thank you for sharing.

Although each of the 3 stanza's are related to one another, each stanza tells a story.

When we have defeated accidental death, bad health, pestilence and war, we will grow like rabbits with no predators to keep our growth in check.

We will then be free to drive our off-road vehicles over every last blade of grass to go see our cesspool of oceans. Won't that be nice?

Wow, Tom!!! You amazed me!!! You really have digested this poem within a SPEEDY TIME FRAME!!! Your explanation of this poem has helped me to understand it better!

Yes, I agree this poem is about fate, but as often as I see it most people would blame their failures and call it Fate or Destiny. That's how most people conduct themselves.

When they succeed they never give credits to God, they would call it luck, or the opportunity presents itself, but when they fail they would blame God for giving them such fate and destiny.

People need to work, and work hard if they want to be successful. Not all rich folks are born rich. Some work their way up from scratch. Fate has nothing to do with it. When you want something you work for it.

Damien, in your work I read the fate of each of us. I read the things we can control and fail to do. I read those things we didn't do or cannot do Fate provides us with opportunities we failed to take. fate illustrates that the nature of mankind is responsible for the loss of many lives due to self worship and the mistaken belief we have to be top dog. it also reads that each man must reach within himself for understanding and success, release his talents for the betterment of man kind. I read in this poem that you believe in God that gave you life. I'd say it's a deep study of comparison between what you think of yourself and reality -a very interesting and deeply thoughtful work
