 It Was Pouring Rain That Day,

Cold Winter Glum To Say,

It Was When I Was in The Village of Birth,

Motherland Was Where There Was Milk & Money In Land of Dale & Perth

I Was An inquisitive Twelve Year Old,

I Was Already Searching For Goals,

It Was A Long Time Ago But Seems It Was Last Year,

I Walked Fifteen Miles Through Rain & Mud,

It Would Had Been Better With A Cold Glass Of Beer,

The Bridge Was Not All Safe By Any Means,

I Wasn't Even In My Teens,

One Bamboo I Was Walking Across At A Time,

Holding Another Bamboo Really Tight,

I Was Taking One Small Steps,

Rain Was Pouring So Hard,

It Was Like Heavens Was Crying For A Long Time,

Angel's Up In Clouds,

Waving At Me,

Encouraging Me,

At Times I Sat On The Wet Grass By,

Looking At Young People Running My Sides,

Some Jumping Into Pools Overflowing With Waters,

Making Splash And Laughter With Joy & Happiness,

Some Villagers Had Herds Of Bull,Goats & Cows To Overwatch, All Had Umbrellas Made From Bamboo Trees,

Each Herds Feasting In Nature's Green Field,

Birds Flying To Find Sanctuary On Bamboo & Trees,

It Was Just Like When The English Author 'Rudyard Kipling Described In His Books,

It's Something Everyone Cannot See,

You Need A Lot Of Imagination To Stand Out From The Crowd, Its Not About All Harmonious Tranquility, I

it's More Of Fitting Puzzles Than In Life,

Sorting Out The Clutter In The Heads,

It's About Learning About Being A Patience Person,

That Was It Really,

Bamboo Trees Crossing The River From Each Ends,

There Wasn't A Real Bridge There,

It Was Worse Than The Bridges In Amazon Rainforest,

The Drop Was A Long Way Down,

With Crocodiles Jaw Wide Open For A Foreign Little Feast, Once You Fall In The River,

You Didn't Have Much In Favours,

That Was The Real Thing,

Conquer Above All,

I Was Going To The Nabigonj Town To Sip A Warm Cup Of Tea, Nothing Was Going To Stop Me,

Passed A Village Called Noa-Gaw On My Left Side My Brand New Black & Red Shirt Dripping Wet Cold Raindrops,

My Ancestors Blood In My Veins,

Once Great Warriors Whom Fought In Vast Numbers,

Owned Lands With Being Triumphant

 

 

The Lands Inherited By Myself & My Siblings,

My Sandles Dirty Had Dirty Cold Sands,

Most People Not Bothered To Get Up From Bed's,

People Were So Frustrated By A Lot Of Things In The Local Towns & Villages,

They Trusted The Government Whom Let Them Down,

They Trusted Their Village Leaders,

Their Own Clans,

Their Own Family Elder's,

The Poverty Was The Big 'Virus' Life Expectancies Was 30 Year, It Was Life In Dale When The Water Was Pollutant,

It Was Lagers And Beer,

It Was Underground Sewerage,

Amongst Other Things Is Why We Live Above a Hundred Year,

I Had A Focus On A Hot Tea Cup Waiting For Me,

Sipping The Tea So Fresh,

Picked Up From The Back Gardens,

Fifteen Miles Journey It Was,

It Was To Stand Out From The Rest,

Cleansing Itself is Test,

 

I Once Jumped From A Bridge,

In One Of My Stunts,

My Three Boy's Just Watched,

I Broken My Bones In My Leg,

It Was Only He Whom Jumped To Be At My Side,

I Didn't Think It'd Be Him,

He's Mother Is A Racist White Girl,

I Gave A Lot Of Money To Another,

He Didn't Finch,

He Wanted My End,

The 'Lazy Bong!' To Broaden,

His inheritance,

I Gave Him Cars, Watches & An Expensive Education,

It Would Had Been Better Leaving Him Near A Train Station,

It's True Your Kid's Are Our Future,

To Broaden Your Family Name,

In Every Corner Of The New World's, So We Are Told,

You rambled a bit, but brought your rambling to a nice conclusion, having crossed over the difficult bridge to the welcome side of life.

Dear Damien,

First of all, "Happy Thanksgiving" as we have so much to be thankful for...

Great poetic expression! However, there seems to be at three poems here. This is an easy fix and that will defitely help. The other distraction is the use of capitals. I suggest you read and review the poems slowly and have a friend help as well. But please don't get discouraged. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Amen

Your imagery is great, and it flows with mystic imagery. It is true - "It's True Your Kid's Are Our Future."

Upon the River Ganges poets, philosophers, scholars, intellectuals, others, have given us the baptismal waters cleansing meditative minds.
