This poem inspired by Regis I just had to do it.

.

Kaleidoscopes of memories always fill my dreams

As I grow older things are not as bad as they seemed

Tenderness from loving parents enter my quiet mind

Holding on to them in reverence for all time

Letting my heart and soul find peace and silence

Even when I have to deal with unbelievable violence

Every time when I feel overwhelmed they help me cope

Nothing that I take upon myself can be over looked

.

Many times in my life I have had to turn to my faith

Could not run away…it was too late

Doing all I could to keep on a happy face

Only because of my strength could I win the race

Not depending on anyone to lighten my load

Always went where I could work and did what I was told

Lending a hand to all that needed help and care

Doing what I could to open my heart and be there

.

WHEN WE ARE AWARE THAT GOD HAS BROUGHT US THROUGH ONCE, WE KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT HE 'WILL' TAKE US THROUGH...AGAIN AND AGAIN. JUST YOU AND HIM...IS ALL IT TAKES. I LOVED THIS! THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

I think this is very well done, Kathleen. Rhyming acrostics are not easy to construct. Love and best wishes,

Regis
