Awaking muse takes control


Poem Artwork

 Inspiration 

.
Peace and serenity overcome me
As I close my eyes as twilight 
Kisses the stars that light up the sky
.
A dream escapes into my slumber
While a vision inspires words to 
Circle and take root in my mind
.
A word ignites a sensation 
That I can only quench by
Rising and taking up pen and parchment
.
Words flow like liquid gold upon paper
As these inspiring manifestations 
Overtake me as the pen takes control
.
A page turns as my muse is inspired to continue
On its course to fulfill the joy I feel deep within
As the last word drips from the pen
