Our young girls and boys are reaching puberty way too soon. Emotionally and mentally, I'm afraid they are not ready.

tore at the sweet meat of his brain repeatedly and awkwardly

like a young vulture snaring a tiny rabbit he was hungry and knew not

else his first dirty word was beckoning him, he waited patiently,

when early manhood calls, he must be ready.

*There Was an Old Mn of Dunoon...

Who always ate soup with a fork,

Why he said,  "As I eat neither fish, fowl, nor flesh,

I should otherwise finish too quick."

I love this. Isn't it cool? Winged

'Cause I Said No, That's Why! by Connie Amarel

This book was written for children to stress the importance of being able to choose who gets to hug or touch them and being able to say NO if they don't want to be hugged or touched.
