Listen to the silence
Buzzing in my ears
Watch the wasted days go by
And become the wasted years.
Feels like I've been standing here
Longer than I should.
Looks like I'm doing fine alone,
I never thought I would.
But looks can be deceiving,
We both know that's true .
Someday I won't have to lie
I'll be fine without you.

sure you will be fine
i have no doubt
but don't stop writing because i would not be fine without what you write
