I watched the leaves fall down
from the sky and I pondered
the thought of change
this change toward growth I must make
away from a fast paced world once
so well I knew and
no uncertainty did I keep hidden
I reak of legal intellect - yet
fraudulent voices trapped in my mind
as I watched the leaves fall down
I pondered why I allowed them
to change me for a time
for so long and not a moment did I see
I was a part of the world they made
and now I am nothing but me
as I watch the leaves fall down
those long lost days of innocence
moments of purity are here once more affirmed by a simple change in a leaf
as I watched the leaves fall down
and before my own eyes...nothing but me
