Jesus I thought about you today and,

Jesus Here’s what I have to say.

You taught us to love each one here on earth,

You taught us that we are a family from birth.

You told us that we are all the same,

And that it’s from you our father, we came.

You told us that your love was unconditional,

You said you would love us, even if we fail.

Well Jesus, someone’s changing your way,

They ask that we turn our back on family today.

Spoken

I believe in the, ten commandments, carved on stone,

And the Holy bible, that’s your word alone.

You promised you’d love us for who we are,

But Jesus, today I’m left with a scar.

You made us in the image of you alone,

You set us free to always have a home.

But Jesus today they’ve changed your love,

They ask that we turn from your word above.

Show them Jesus that you are our father above,

You always want us, to except others, and love.

Tell them that a difference in others is ok,

Not to turn our backs on family today.
