We hear all the time "if only you wouldn't eat so much." But do
they really know how they hurt you.
Especially when you really do try.
My heart goes out to all of you with this problem.
Weight, I am so sick of it. Why?
Nothing seems to make a difference. Wake up in the morning, writing down every morsel that goes into my mouth.
Always trying to keep track. Why?
For my health of course.

Eating all the right foods. Why?
After years of living on whole grains and small portions and always fighting with myself to work on this body nothing is working anyway.

Dieting all the time. Why?
Is it really making a difference?
Always trying,always walking.
Always trying to make a difference. But nothing is helping. Why?

It hurts when people say
"maybe if you would stop eating,
just maybe diets would work."

But do they see what I really eat,no.
Do they see how hard I try, no.
So who are they to tell me to try harder.
After all, I am harder on myself then they could ever be.

My health dwindles no matter what I try. I'm too young to die from these illnesses. But I continue trying anyway. Why?
Because my life is worth it.

people are crass in their wordings to us all lena and they seldom realize the emotional affect of their so-called concern for our physical health. there is a thin line between concern and nagging :) we all have one body in life and treat it as WE see fit. again you bring the reader to a place in their own lives that affects them greatly .God Bless

I do sympathize with your plight, Selena; and you are right; those of us who do not know these afflictions often have no clue and our comments no doubt are ill-advised and hurtful. Thank you for the reminder. Love, peace, and healing to you,

If we didn't have taste buds
we probably wouldn't eat as much..

Oh Sissy, I am there on the cart with you, We were cursed with so much diabetes, and heart problems and unless others are taking some of the medications we take they may never know how we feel. You are a beautiful person so try to look up and push what others have to say aside. I love you just as you are. It's like Felix says, it's no fun so I know he walks in our footsteps. Love Rose XOXO
