The first in a series of brief stories about my personal shift in my quality of life.

This is a series of short stories about my personal shift to perpetual fun and happiness. In each story, I talk about how I am practicing metaphysics now that I define it as the integrated use I make of my physical and non-physical focus. I discuss the nature of my shift and how I make this shift my ongoing adventure through the diversity life offers me on a moment-to-moment basis. I refer to the various experiences I face as subjects I give attention and what happens as I do, according to my focus, whether physical or non-physical, or the combination of the two.

Everything I give my attention in the world around me is a subject I practice on my journey to perpetual fun and happiness. My journey starts with my decision to be happy and have fun, and I make this decision every morning as soon as I awaken and consider the new day I am in. In my story I talk about how I consciously and intentionally take my journey. I tell about what I think of as the most important part of my journey: taking back the power I had given away. I talk about so many ways I found to have fun, including fun with things that “caused” me various forms of discomfort.

So much of my personal shift is an ongoing occurrence in my family setting. This very important part of my story trends as I rendezvous with the members of my family, especially the members of my household. I found family life such a rich adventure with amazingly interesting subjects of great variety, giving immediate feedback I easily use to see where I am on my journey. I am so thrilled to tell you I am able to check out how close I am to perpetual fun and happiness.

Throughout my story I tell about my practice in choosing my personal focus – what goes into my decision to choose the physical focus or the non-physical focus. Also I tell about my experiments combining physical and non-physical focus and how this is working for me. You might notice I use the word “practice” very frequently to describe how I am making my shift. In my story I tell you what I am practicing at any time of my moment-to-moment adventures, and how making it my business to practice subjects in new ways is so thrilling.

In the final chapters of my story I tell about the fun I am having in my ongoing adventure of creating my worlds. I talk about how I started this practice and how this became part of my moment-to-moment journey through the diverse subjects I included along the way. And I tell you about the fun I am having creating the worlds of various subjects.
