Western fiction from our early western frontier and it's history.I have endeavored to put realism in my narratives without overly offensive language, or fantasy.
It is my opinion that the introduction of a book should warn you of it’s contents and In doing so prepare you for things that may be unusual or surprising in nature.. A number of my stories originate from actual events in our early west particularly in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. I have been an avid student of pioneer and Indian activities in those areas. The Lincoln county war story included the killing of Shotgun Roberts. This is a fictional take off from that incident involving his last request to an alcoholic friend to get his gun to his daughter Cindy imprisoned by a killer outlaw in a remote and well guarded strong hold.

An abandoned mother with two young girls is taken in by an old sweet heart operating a horse ranch. A story of love, compassion, wild horse capture and threats of ruin from her ex-husband and his empty grave.

I’ll be Jesus
A very unusual story of a confederate soldier blinded and threatened with burial, rescued by a union soldier that later needed rescue from hanging. Joining they escape desertion charges to seek a life out of the war zones. The father had said, It’s as easy to say,”I’ll be Jesus” as it is “I’ll be damned” but remember all the damned go to hell.
I like historic fiction, especially if it is true to the way things were. Life was tough in the early years of the West. The fantasies gunslingers wandering around and never having to hole up just to survive without food and water except with gunshot wounds is bull.
