Congratulations on this book. You have it listed as an Action/Thriller that would make it fiction. When I see the word "disabled" before someone in high action sport, I wonder about whether there are government monetary funds inappropriately spent. But I'm not an expert on the ins and outs of the military disability community. Of the disabled people that I know, none of them are military.
By the way. If you declare yourself disabled to get Social Security early, you can't be working. There's a tax break for blindness, but there's no tax break for money for disability (except state funds that vary a lot) unless you quit working. I never declared myself disabled.
