Our world has been experiencing many challenges recently. People of all ages and backgrounds have faced often insurmountable assaults on their temporal life in body, mind, and spirit. Perhaps the following affirmative thought will help to generate a sense of peace and restorative direction as we traverse Mother Earth in this time of transition...toward what we may hope will be an improved state of being for all of us!
I greet this day with radiance in my heart and a smile on my face regardless of my surroundings or their conditions despite today’s challenges. I know that it does not matter where I may be, for the beauty of optimal scenes within my life and upon our world are but a thought away.
I am reminded of the unity of sentient beings with Mother Earth who gives home to all of us. The term Mother Earth should be comforting. It implies the life-generating force that permeates Creation’s infinite universes. This concept of universal parenthood may be found across eras and cultures. Whether or not we are biological parents, each of us is a progenitor of life. For good or ill, our impact upon our surroundings accumulates through our journey upon this plane. We can choose to positively influence our troubled world regardless of our age, gender, or life experience. My pathway may not be what I have envisioned, but I know it presents daily opportunities to affirmatively enhance myriad life experiences through my thoughts, words, and actions.
Each day I choose to open myself to such occasions, even in moments of uncertainty. Peace and understanding are gifts of the Universe, which I can experience and augment by turning to the center of my being. I affirm that as I find inspiration, I shall go forth to find the best within all of the people, as well as the circumstances I encounter.
Is there new expansion in my mind and skills that will bring me to a new understanding of the Earth and her bounty? How can I contribute to the quality of life upon our Earth? Is there new work for me to undertake during the remaining span of my earthly sojourn?
There is beauty in the distance even when the space immediately before our eyes seems barren. There truly is splendor on the horizon... if only we have the desire and patience to search for it! The answers I seek are available to me and all who will join with me in peace and understanding...It is not a question of my way or your way...it is the pathway that will prove the best for all concerned that I shall embrace and promote for the benefit of all concerned.
