Pat's poems are reflective portraits of people and events. They hold the aroma of hope and the colors of life. Some books are to be tasted; others swallowed; a few are to be savored slowly and repeatedly. Pat hopes you experience the cadance of her words in the deepest part of you where your creativlty lies.

Playing in my mind was a successful strategy for me during my Mommy years. I was influenced and encouraged by family, friends and a wide variety of talented people at home and abroad.
Now, in my second adulthood, and addicted to the stimulation of daily life, I continue to create word images that hopefully impart hard-earned wisdom and inspire others to release their own creativity.
My award-winning essays, book reviews, columns, and travel and humor articles have appeared in newspapers, literary magazines, and in New Works Review and Passport Journals online.
My poetry has been published in A Time to be Free, passager - A Journal of Remembrance and Discovery, Thinking Aloud/Allowed, A Trail of Thoughts, and In the Playhouse of My Mind Volume I, Scattered Rainbows Volume II, and Life on a Seesaw Volume III of the Circle of Life Trilogy with artist Carol L. Funke.
