Only a Game is a psychological thriller. Writing in the horror genre is delightful because the only boundaries that limit my work are the boundaries of my imagination.

My first book, Only a Game, published by Publish America is now available. This is a supense filled horror novel about a dysfunctional family dealing with mental illness/demons.
A major influence in in my writing career is my husband. He never let me give up on myself. He encouraged me to keep writing and to keep sending the manuscripts out. Another major influence in my life as an author was the editor of "Beach Views" in Clearwater Beach Flordia. This lady looked over my work and encouraged me to keep wriiting. She believed in me. She accepted many of my poems and other items for publication in her weekly newspaper. I also have to give credit to my entire family for encouraging me to write! They all believed in me when I doubted myself and encouraged me not to give up my dream.

On July 02, 2002 my novel, Only a Game was accepted for publication by PublishAmerica. This is my highest achievment as an author. I have been chosen as a feautured poetry writer for AuthorsDen, and this was certainly a thrill for me. On a personal note, my marriage of 35 years is an accomplishment for both myself and my husband. We have raised three children and survived the experience and are now enjoying the wonders of being grandparents!

My first novel, Only a Game, is my most prized work to date. I have Lupus (SLE) and had to take several months off work. Because of my illness I couldn't not spend much time outside in the sun. I spent my time rewriting this novel. I wanted to see my work complete. I also wanted to help others suffering with Lupus to realize that life doesn't have to stop with the illness! I wanted to accomplish something with my life! I lead a lupus support group on the internet called LWLupus, (Living With Lupus). I wanted to let others know that we are more than just a group suffering with Lupus. We can still be productive, creative individuals and make major accomplishments in our life, even though we battle lupus everyday!
Doing a live radio interview featured on AuthorsDen's new radio talk show was a big stepping stone in my career. Host, Roger Vizi did an exceptional job with the interview and did much to promote me as AuthorsDen's featured poet. This was my first live interview and it was a very rewarding experience.
