I can't stand being alone, but I did enjoy the beauty and serenity of the great outdoors when I was younger, when I was with those I loved, who loved me... I thought.
You should be a travel agent for peace and tranquility. Reading your poem was a wonderful experience. Thanks. I think I'll go make a cup of tea and go outside for a moment with the stars.
There's something about the woods...yes. I remember the woods behind my house in Ohio. I used to go there many a day to commune with Nature and relax in her beauty. I'd go eat sassafras leaves...GAD, haven't thought about that in years. Thanks for the memory jog in your beautiful verse.
